This host serves the ad units for Daylight.

What this is

Daylight is a glass-box ad network: what every ad was shown, what every click was judged to be, and how it was judged are all public. This host is the part of it that a page actually loads — the unit script, the ad JSON, the click redirect and the images. The network itself, its dashboard and its published numbers are on daylight.ad.

They are separate hosts on purpose. Nothing a publisher's page loads should have to come from the domain the network is read on.

What it does not do

No cookies are set here — not for tracking, not for anything. No fingerprinting, no profiles, no retargeting, and nothing is joined up across sites. An IP address is used to tell a real click from a robot and is never stored: it is salted with a key that rotates daily, hashed, and the raw value is discarded. The privacy page says all of that in more detail, and every promise on it is checkable against the code.

Seen your product here, and didn't ask to be?

Ask and it comes off. The opt-out form needs no account and asks for nothing but the domain. A person reads the queue, so no clock is promised — but once it is done it is permanent.
